Behaviour in Parliament

The public would have seen in the media the most despicable utterances by senior party leaders in last week’s Parliament proceedings.

The public has watched with disgust over the last 10 years or so senior Parliamentarians displaying utter arrogance and showing complete indifference to views expressed in the House by those opposing them.18

We all now have a good opportunity in the upcoming election not to vote for these individuals, whichever party they belong to. It has been a common scene to witness – Members of Parliament who have blatantly broken the laws of the country and misuse their powers trying to be heroes.

The politicians displaying arrogance undoubtedly shows how they disregard public opinion as well as the lack of gratitude they should show to the voters who supported them.

Let us all resolve never to vote for or show sympathy to not only the individuals but also the political parties and leaders who continue to sponsor and support such individuals.
