CFA financial analyst competition kicks off

The university teams participating in the CFA Sri Lanka Challenge 2011 were instructed on the competition rules at the Kick Off meeting held at the Securities and Exchange Commission Auditorium last week.

The task ahead for the contestants is to extensively research the target company, Tokyo Cement Company (Lanka) Plc, together with the industry it operates in over the next three months and to make an investment recommendation to the judges in the form of a written report as well as a presentation by the end of September this year.
