Fashion meets chocolate at Shangri-La Hotel Colombo

In celebration of HSBC Colombo Fashion Week 2019 Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo unlocks new possibilities and presents the beautiful chocolate designs of the creative culinary team of Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

“The natural and stylistic world of fashion with its design elements at the CFW, manual precision, innovative textures and colour range, have been the source of inspiration for the fashion inspired food and beverage offerings that my team and I have in store for you. With that in mind my team and I created these wonderful chocolate coated mannequins and art to bring this fashion week alive. It is only apt for us to create the very best for CFW,” states Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo Executive Chef Chef Patrick Buttgereit.

The 16th edition of the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week is being be staged at two other venues other than Shangri-La Hotel, from 28 February to 2 March.

Come savour the finest menus created with passion, style and charisma by Chef Patrick Buttgereit and his kitchen brigade at the Capital Bar and Grill and Sapphyr Lounge, while the hotel’s master mixologist, Alexandre Renoue will continue to curate your soirée with a handcrafted selection of cocktails with his effortless style and finesse.
