Sri Lanka Tea Board at Saudi Horeca Exhibition 2017 in Riyadh

The Sri Lanka Tea Board, in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh, organised a Sri Lanka tea pavilion at the Saudi Horeca 2017 Exhibition, which was held from 27-29 November. 

Basilur Teas Ltd. and Shan Tea Ltd. represented the tea export trade from Sri Lanka with the Sri Lankan Tea Board at the Exhibition.

The Saudi Horeca Exhibition was held for the seventh consecutive year, and the Sri Lanka Tea Board participated in for the third consecutive year since 2015.

 Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Saudi Arabia Azmi Thassim formally inaugurated the Sri Lanka pavilion as the chief guest. 

 The Sri Lanka Tea Board pavilion attracted many visitors who enthusiastically obtained product details of SLTB Ceylon tea products and information about Ceylon tea while tasting a hot cup of Ceylon Tea. 

The Commercial section of the Embassy of Sri Lanka also organised separate business meetings for the private sector tea companies with leading food and beverage companies in Riyadh.
