Matuwagala Tea Factory establishes an all-time record price

Matuwagala Tea Factory, situated in Ratnapura, managed by Saman Upasena, achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction of 06 March, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 970 per kg for PEK1 grade in the Low Grown category.

The teas were purchased by Qualitea Ceylon Ltd. The sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
