J.S.P. Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

J.S.P. Tea Factory situated in Welipenna, managed by Piyasoma Jayasinghe achieved an ‘all-time record price’ at the weekly tea auction of 3 October, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 730 per kg for the BP grade in the Low Grown category. This line of tea was purchased by M/S Uni World Teas.

The sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
