I read with enthusiasm your article in the Daily FT of 30 January under the above caption.

Indeed, it was an impressive act by the management of Talawakelle Estates Ltd. of the Hayleys conglomerate and also of the heartening title your esteemed paper had given it, which is an eye-opener to the people who matter in the industry by and large.

At a time when the rest of the stakeholders are crying foul to part with generosity and natural justice upon a set of downtrodden and disgruntled human beings the mManagement of Talawakelle Estates has displayed willingness to change towards network style management from the aged-old hierarchy model which are now driven towards a natural death.

As a person who loves the industry, I am thrilled that the Managing Director and the team at Talawakelle Estates are in numerous ways doing their best to nurture the people who are serving in an ailing industry, understanding that, when change take place at the base, everything changes upwards policy.

The leadership and its resolve are the key to success!

A big salute to the management of Talawakelle Estates of Hayleys conglomerate.
