Eastern Brokers sets all-time record for Kirklees Estate

At the recently concluded Colombo Tea Auctions held on 8 August, Kirklees Estate achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 750 per kg for a DUST No. 01 grade in the Uda Pussellawa category. This line of tea was purchased by M/s. Watawala Tea Ceylon Ltd. This surpasses the previous record price of Rs. 730 per kg, established by Kirklees Estate at the Auction of 20 September 2017.

Kirklees Estate focuses on maintaining a high standard of manufacture and is renowned for producing high quality teas. Kirklees Estate currently comes under the stewardship of Varuna Athauda who has been behind the success of Kirklees Estate.

Kirklees Estate comes under the management of RPC Management Services Ltd. of Richard Pieris group of Companies.
