Adams View Tea Factory establishes all-time record

The Adams View Tea Factory established a new all-time record price of Rs. 1,450 per kg for a PEK grade in the Low Grown elevational category at this week’s Colombo Tea Auctions held on 8 and 9 October. 

This invoice was purchased by Meezan and Co. Ltd.

This factory is situated in the heart of Ratnapura and has a production capacity of 1,000,000 kg of made tea per annum. Adams View Tea Factory is owned and managed by B.A.R. Dissanayake, who has been a distinguished manufacturer of tea since 2000.

The above record-breaking teas were marketed by Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
