‘#Our2030: Youth Dialogue’ on leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship begins

UNDP Sri Lanka Resident Representative Jorn Sorensen, Ministry of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development, Vocational Training and Skills Development and Youth Affairs Secretary V. Sivagnanasothy, and UN Youth Delegate 2018/2019 for Sri Lanka Shamilka Karunanayake addressed the opening ceremony of the ‘#Our2030: Youth Dialogue’. 

The dialogue was hosted by the UNDP together with the Ministry of National Polices, Economic Affairs, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development, Vocational Training, Skills Development and Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology, the National Youth Services Council, the Information and Communications Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, Citi Foundation, and Youth Co Lab (a program co-led by the UNDP and Citi Foundation). This event brought together over 200 young people working with and for young people from across the country to engage in a dialogue on mainstreaming integrated youth programming in Sri Lanka.
