  • Special moments of the Browns Leisure Night 2019

Browns Hotels & Resorts together with Browns Tours recently hosted a glittering night for their valuable and loyal partners who are also key stakeholders of the leisure industry. With record attendance, the partner night was held for the second consecutive year.

Expressing their mutual understanding and respect towards Browns Leisure, many leading destination management companies (DMCs), tour agents and corporate clients both local and foreign took part at this vibrant event which was held this year at the Shore by O! in Mount Lavinia.

Speaking about the event, Browns Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer Inbound/Outbound and Chief Business Development Officer Leisure Dishan Perera said, “Similar to the previous year, all partners and corporate clients appreciated the fact that we organised a corporate event of this magnitude despite the hiccups faced by the travel and tourism industry this year and at a time when it is now gradually recovering and kicking off for the winter season. All major airlines and corporate clients also participated in appreciation towards Browns Hotels & Resorts and Browns Tours which have maintained long-term partnerships.

Browns Hotels & Resorts and Browns Tours intends to organise this event annually to appreciate all partners and corporates for their continued support and loyalty extended over the years. The event also helped unveil new products and developments such as the Eden Cruise and the Lavender House. The Eden Cruise is the ideal way to explore Sri Lanka by sailing on a private, luxury yacht charter rental, around the tropical, sun-kissed coast of the paradise island.

The Lavender House luxury villa is an old tea planter’s bungalow which has been transformed to a stunning boutique hotel set majestically surrounded by the Helboda Tea Plantations, some 45 minutes’ drive from Kandy in Central Sri Lanka. Its hilltop location is sublime – looking past the infinity pool, you can see the mountains covered in tea plantations and the Kotmale reservoir in the distance. The bungalow has been lovingly restored showing off its old world charm with polished floors and many fine antiques. Each room denotes its own individual character and has open log fires which can be lit on cool nights. It is the perfect getaway for those that want to experience something of the old Sri Lankan colonial life.

Browns Hotels & Resorts lays claim to some of the most stylish and strategically situated resorts in Sri Lanka which offer visitors a series of idyllic island experiences. The properties include The Eden Resort & Spa in Beruwela, Dickwella Resort & Spa in Dickwella, The Calm Resort & Spa in Pasikuda and The Paradise Resort & Spa in Dambulla. All four properties offer guests the chance to enjoy an unforgettable getaway with warm hospitality and some of the most sought-after amenities.
