Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup played for the third time in Sri Lanka

Druvi Sirisena will represent Colombo after winning the competition with 45 points, while Praveen Dias was runner-up and A.W.M Reza was third

 

Turkish Airlines, a global leader in civil aviation, brought its ever-growing Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup to Royal Colombo Golf Club in Colombo on Sunday 16 September.

Sri Lanka event was well supported by the local business community were among the competitors at Colombo.

With this year’s tournament is backed by The Financial Times, National, Titanic Hotels and clothing partner Ruck & Maul, the winners of the qualifiers progress to the Grand Finals in Antalya in November, when they have the chance to secure a place in the Turkish Airlines Open pro-am, will fly Business Class in Turkish Airlines and stay at the five-star Titanic Golf Deluxe Hotel.

The Nearest to the Pin competition on the 9th hole was won by Druvi Sirisena for the men and Ms. Irene Scarth for the women. Druvi Sirisena won the lowest gross score with 36.
