The NSB cricket team emerged the champions of the Division 1, Nationalised Services Limited Over Cricket Tournament 2019, by beating the strong BOC team by 1 wicket in the last ball. It was the most competitive and tense final match ever held in the history of cricket tournaments organised by the Nationalised Services Cricket Association (NSCA), and the pendulum was swinging both ways. NSB was able to hold the nerve to finish the match in a winning note. After winning the toss, BOC decided to bat first and during their 40 overs scored 183 for 9 wickets.

Janaka Manjula was the top wicket taker for NSB with 3 wickets for 24 runs. NSB successfully chased the target of 184 and scored the winning runs in the last ball. Diluka Bandara played an extraordinary inning with unbeaten 57 runs and guided NSB towards the victory.  This is the first time in the history of NSB sports that a cricket team has won the Division 1, NSCA Limited Over League Championship. NSB reached the finals by beating tournament favourites Sri Lanka Ports Authority by 30 runs in the semi-finals. 10 teams fought for the trophy, and the final match was held at the NSCA Ground, Ratmalana on 30 July.
