ŠKODA soon to officially enter Sri Lanka under IWS Holdings

ŠKODA, the world-renowned Czech brand which has been under the Volkswagen Group since 1991, will soon mark its official presence in Sri Lanka under IWS Automobiles Ltd., a fully owned IWS Holdings company.

ŠKODA started its journey in mobility in 1895 by manufacturing bicycles and in 1905 they built their first car. Since then ŠKODA has become one of Europe’s most successful car manufacturers, having sold 1.24 million vehicles in 2018 alone.

There will be four models available for pre-order from March 2020 onwards which includes the FABIA in the hatchback category, SUPERB in the sedan category, KODIAQ and KAROQ in the SUV category. The highlight of the entire model range is the KODIAQ which is a seven-seater SUV with an engine capacity of 1400cc.
