The Management Club, Wattala had their monthly meeting on 23 October using a virtual platform, due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The meeting was well-attended by the members who were quite excited by the opportunity to get together after a long break! The members shared their knowledge on how they are getting about their businesses in the prevailing situation and welcomed the chance to stay connected. The TMC Wattala team is scheduled to meet once again on Friday, 20 November at the host Pegasus Reef Hotel, subject to health guidelines or an alternative online platform will be used, if a physical meeting is untenable!

Lanka Milk Foods Group Chief Executive Officer Manjula Dahanayake has offered to enlighten the membership on the dairy industry in Sri Lanka. The Chairman and the Members of TMC Wattala intend to invite managers of corporates located in Wattala to enrol in the club and thus each member has been asked to support a Member bring Member exercise to boost membership to a target of about 25 by year-end.

At a time when business has become a major challenge worldwide as well as in our country, professional managers have the task of sustaining their enterprises and looking for alternative measures to maintain the viability of their organisations. TMC Wattala along with the TMC fraternity is well-conscious of this formidable responsibility and continues to focus on how best to manage in these difficult period.

TMC Wattala Chairman Geethal Anthony together with TMC Wattala Mentor and TMC Board of Management Member Trevor Reckerman conducted the online zoom meeting.
