Premier smartphone health and wellness app ayubo.life continued its commitment to health and fitness by welcoming the country’s premiere domestic air taxi service, Cinnamon Air, as a partner for its upcoming ‘Back 2 Colombo’ virtual step challenge.

“We are delighted with Cinnamon Air’s decision to partner us primarily because it displays their belief in our visionary app and its implications. This shared and resonated vision by our prospective partners encourages us in our efforts to create healthier lifestyles across the nation,” said ayubo.life Director/COO Dr. Chamila Ariyananda.

The Back to Colombo initiative was launched to coincide with the anniversary of last year’s W2K virtual walk, which saw users cover a distance of 115 km or roughly 170,000 steps within 25 days and offered a cash prize of Rs. 1 million.

The Back 2 Colombo virtual step challenge will see users tread 175,000 steps from 18 March to 12 April. Participants can track their progress along the predefined virtual route as they walk throughout the day. The ayubo.life mobile app will log a participant’s steps and translate them into real-time progress with the challenge.

Winners of the challenge can claim weekly prizes amounting to Rs. 50,000 as well as other rewards such as Rs. 10,000 for five lucky winners courtesy of NSB, two return air tickets to Kandy by Cinnamon Air, a full board one-night stay at Anantara Kalutara, full-board two-night stay at Pink Fox Resort in Hingurana, full-board two-night stay at Fox Resorts Jaffna, Subway vouchers worth Rs. 25,000, Vision Care Sunglasses, Anchor Shape Up gift packs, Gift Packs from Texstretch and 50,000 worth of .life points from ayubo.life.

Cinnamon Air is owned and operated by Saffron Aviation Ltd., a joint venture between Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate, John Keells Holdings, MMBL Leisure Holdings (a part of the Mercantile Merchant Bank Group) and Phoenix Ventures (parent of the Brandix Group, Sri Lanka’s largest garment manufacturer).
