University of Southern Queensland Australia – Sri Lanka Alumni Chapter organised a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program on 8 November at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka. The session was conducted by Dialog Axiata PLC Chief Digital Services Officer and wOw.lk CEO Dr. Nushad Perera.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nushad explained how the traditional marketing mix has become obsolete and how marketers should use the 4Cs – Customer experience, Conversations, Content and Collaboration – to replace the 4Ps.

In today’s complex business environment where things change constantly, the speed of execution is a lot more important than perfect execution, Dr. Nushad said, adding that the situation might change while trying to perfect a certain solution or product, rendering the product or solution irrelevant. He then went onto explain the importance of testing fast, failing fast and adjusting fast in order to remain relevant and competitive in modern business.
