Sri Lanka’s leading Business Process Management (BPM) and Shared Services experts, H-Connect, was certified as a great workplace today by independent analysts at Great Place to Work in Sri Lanka (GPWSL). The certification was awarded to the company based on a series of evaluations and anonymous employee surveys conducted by GPWSL.

“We applaud H-Connect for seeking employees’ feedback and the opportunity to certify itself,” said GPWSL CEO Kshanika Ratnayaka. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace. These are critical metrics for anyone considering working for – or doing business with H-Connect. This certification therefore provides a reliable indicator of the overall quality of the organisation’s high performance, and strong commitment to its employees.”

Notably, this year’s certification marks the very first instance that H-Connect has engaged with the Great Place to Work evaluation process. According to H-Connect CEO, the company’s certification is no coincidence.

“From the outset, we were always deeply conscious of the fact that the success of any enterprise in the service sector hinges on its people. So, we’ve worked hard to create a corporate culture which is designed around the needs of our people and geared to encourage consistent training and skills development.

“The resounding positive responses which we received on the Trust Index Survey and enthusiastic endorsements by our employees of H-Connect as a Great Place to Work is a tremendous validation of the values we have collectively built into this organisation. We remain firmly committed to its further enhancement as we progress in our journey to become a world-renowned organisation,” H-Connect CEO Dilush Perera stated.

Over the recent past, H-Connect further augmented its employee training and development strategy with the introduction of E-Learning modules aimed at ensuring that every employee is provided with the knowledge necessary to consistently excel as individuals in their respective areas of expertise.

Employees are also given a strong voice within the organisation, with open exchanges taking place at regular intervals between the company’s leadership and operational teams – another factor which contributed towards H-Connect’s excellent scores on its Culture Audit.
