Australian winemakers and brand representatives participated in Wine Australia’s Asian Emerging Markets Roadshow 2018 held in Colombo recently. The multi-city program, presented by Wine Australia and its in-market partner Austrade, involved wine education sessions, tastings, trade and media networking events and briefings by Austrade’s in-market business development managers in charge of the wine sector. The Asian Emerging Markets Roadshow 2018 is a valuable forum for wineries to share their brand with wine importers, distributors, and trade media in each city, and help Australian wine businesses to break into new markets. The event raised awareness of regional and iconic Australian wine in Sri Lanka – Pix by Ruwan Walpola
