Jaguar partners with British School to encourage creativity in design

01Jaguar, the iconic British brand partnered with the British School of Colombo (BSC) to support young emerging talent in design in order to empower students on the importance of art in day to day life. Aashia Ziham, a Year 11 student was also awarded by Jaguar for her outstanding collection at the show. Inspired by the artist Paul Gauguin, she created an ethnic, cultural collection that was sensual and in tune with nature. 

The inaugural BSC Fashion show entitled ‘Dali and Frida’ featured 48 fashionable and artistic designs, from six student designers. The show was a display of students’ artistic expressions and love of the arts.
