US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Michele Sison recently awarded US$ 173,481 (approximately SLR 22.5 million) to 18 Youth Empowerment Grant winners whose projects will help enhance their local communities. It was a night of high-tech wizardry as the first ever overnight Hackathon at a Sri Lankan university took place from 2-3 August 2013 at the University of Moratuwa. The event was organised by the Ideamart team of Dialog Axiata PLC and the E-Club of the University of Moratuwa.
