THASL to recognise Green Hotels

The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) is calling applications from Sri Lankan hotels to compete in the annual Green Hotels competition, organised by the association to recognise the sustainability practices adopted by those hotel firms. This will be a continuation of a very successful Greening Hotel award scheme initiated by the EU sponsored Greening Sri Lanka Hotels program. The highly-anticipated Hotel Asia 2014 Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge came to a close in Malé on Wednesday. Held over three days, the event featured 130+ stalls and participation of 35 Sri Lankan companies, while recording visitor footfall of over 3,500 buyers.
