Indonesia Parliament agrees to curb fuel subsidies

JAKARTA (AFP) – Indonesia's parliament on Tuesday approved a bill to stop private cars using subsidised fuels early next year, a move that will cut public spending but increase pressure on inflation.

Fitch affirms Central Finance Company at ‘A+(lka)’; Outlook Stable

FITCH Ratings Lanka affirmed Central Finance Company PLC’s (CF) National Long-term rating at ‘A+(lka)’. The agency has also assigned an ‘A(lka)’ rating to CF’s proposed subordinated debt issue of Rs. 500m with a tenure of five years. The Outlook is Stable.

S.Africa eases exchange controls to offset inflows

Asia stocks rise on China growth, Fed to assess easing

ECB eyes seeking capital hike

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The European Central Bank is considering requesting an increase in its capital from euro zone member states, euro zone central bank sources told Reuters, as a cushion against any potential losses from its bond buying.
