Sri Lanka’s biggest fashion retail chain NOLIMIT was recently ranked among the Top 100 unlisted brands in Sri Lanka by Brand Finance in their annual analysis of the top brands in Sri Lanka. The brand was also ranked second in customer service among retail stores by Living Magazine in a survey conducted this year. Omnicom’s revenue rises as clients spend more

Reuters:  Omnicom Group Inc, the largest U.S. advertising company, reported better-than-expected quarterly revenue and profit as ad spending rose, particularly in the United States. U.S. ad spending has been gaining momentum as consumer goods companies try to encourage reluctant consumers, suffering from stagnant wages, to crack open their wallets. The growing popularity of private label brands has also pushed national brand owners such as Kraft Foods Group Inc to increase marketing budgets. Microsoft to overtake Yahoo in global digital ad share

REUTERS: Microsoft Corp is expected to surpass Yahoo Inc for the first time in the $ 140.2 billion worldwide digital advertising market, according to estimates by research firm eMarketer released last week. Microsoft’s global ad revenue share for 2014 is forecast at 2.54%, edging ahead of Yahoo’s 2.52% share. Google Inc will remain No. 1 with a 31.54% share, trailed by Facebook Inc with 7.79%, the research firm said.
