Ascot to sell 25% stake in Arrenga Capital
Ascot Holdings Plc has entered into a share sale and purchase agreement with Softlogic Capital to divest its 25% stake in Arrenga Capital.
This is in line with Softlogic Capital’s announcement on Monday that it intends buying the entirety of shareholding of Arrenga Capital amounting to 8 million shares for Rs. 200 million after a due diligence study and regulatory approval.
HNB splits Rs. 6 final dividend in to cash and scrip
HNB yesterday announced that its final dividend of Rs. 6 per share will consists of Rs. 3 per share in cash and an equal amount as a scrip dividend.
The decision to this effect was made by the HNB Board of Directors during their meeting on Monday.

Pan Asia Bank after tax profit up 128% to record Rs. 824 m in 2011
Capping a record breaking year of performance, Pan Asia Bank recorded another phenomenal quarter which saw its 2011 Profit After tax (PAT) growing by 128% to Rs 824 million compared to 2010.
Historically, this is the highest growth recorded by the bank in a financial year during its 17 years of operations and even after taking into account benefits received from reduced taxation, this growth significantly exceeds that of previous year.
