Unilever, the premier FMCG company in Sri Lanka, with its flagship germ-fighter brand Lifebuoy is conducting activation camps in Kandy, Kurunegala and Thissamaharamaya, giving those living in the area an invaluable opportunity of getting themselves informed about germs and germ protection.
The campaign will commence with the camp which is to be held at Sri Rahula College premises in Kandy on 20 May.
‘FADNA Arunella’ health camp at Parakumba Pirivena on 13 May
FADNA Diabe Tea producers, Food and Nature (Pvt) Ltd., will present a social programme titled ‘FADNA Arunella’ together with Emma Pharma.
The main purpose of the program is to convey the message ‘Managing Diabetics’ in society, targeting opinion leaders to create awareness. The all-island event will be held at Parakumba Pirivena in Etul Kotte on 13 May from 8 a.m. onwards.

HSBC organised a special Avurudu Festival for 300 under privileged children representing eight orphanages in Colombo on 28 April at Excel World.
The festival, which took the form of a traditional Avurudu ‘Uthsavawaya,’ consisted of several Avurudu games: ‘Kana Mutti,’ fancy dress parade, ‘Avurudu Kumari’ and marking the elephant eye, to name a few.
