Escape – an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Priya Goonetilleke will be held over the weekend of Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery in Colombo 07. This fourth exhibition by the artist features around 150 line drawings and paintings with poster colour on paper and brings to life an interesting series of landscapes, ‘treescapes’ and ‘colourscapes’ with a rogues’ gallery and an escape into fantasy in between.
