Cake Mixing ceremony at “The Surf” – Bentota
A traditional cake mixing ceremony was held at the “Surf” Bentota recently. The Surf Bentota General Manager Mohamed Rafique, Chefs, all executives and hotel guests participated in this annual cake mixing ceremony. The picture shows the staff and guests participating in the cake mixing. The Surf Bentota is managed by the Galle Face Hotel Group.

Iranian Films in Colombo

Due to the popular demand for the Iranian films among the Sri Lankan audience, the Cultural Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran has organised to screen the films by award winning Iranian artists in its auditorium on first and last Wednesdays of every month.
The inaugural show will be screened on 7, December at the auditorium of the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, located at No. 6, Sir Earnest de Silva Mawathe, Colombo 7. The shows will be sub titled in English for the benefit of local viewers. On first and last Wednesdays of every month the shows will commence sharp at 5.30p.m.
For the inaugural session, the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has invited prominent artists of the film industry and journalists in Sri Lanka. The Cultural Section wishes to announce that the admission to these film shows will be entirely free.
