“Our priority is to ensure the growth of local farmers and thereby to contribute developing the country’s economy. For this, we must work in unity shunning all racial, religious or political differences. We can see this Government is dedicated in developing the country. If the political hierarchy is acting with genuine intentions we could develop our country soon. For that we must end bribery and corruption and the bureaucrats in the country should act effectively. We are dedicated to see that our country is developed and awards and accolades like this will further encourage us,” Ishana Exports Chairman Y.M. Ibrahim said following his achievement.

He also said if everyone including Government officials and political hierarchy work genuinely the country could be developed remarkably. “We must say ‘no’ to saying no or can’t. You must not cheat others, because if you do you will have to face retribution accordingly. Previous Government had its faults. They did not extend support for the local exporters,” he added.  The company is engaged in exporting many varieties of local spices including pepper, nutmeg, areca-nut, goraka, cloves, cardamom etc... Ishana Exports Ltd. has won many international awards including ACTULOAD Award in Geneva, Switzerland (2001), BID International Quality Crown Award in London, Briton (2004), Indian Excellence Award in India (2006) and NCE Excellence Award.
