SLAMERP extends confidence and support to new Govt.

 Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products (SLAMERP), in a statement, extended warm wishes to the Prime Minister-elect Mahinda Rajapaksa at the recently concluded national Parliamentary Elections.

The strong mandate given to the President and the Government reflects the people’s confidence on the new administration to deliver the aspirations of all Sri Lankans.

SLAMERP as the apex body representing manufacturers and exporters of rubber products of Sri Lanka, which contributes $ 1 billion to the national economy, is extremely confident that the right decisions will be taken to increase Sri Lanka’s competitiveness in the global market, by aggressively enacting reforms and consistent policies that supports export-led growth by the new Government. The member companies of SLAMERP are keen to expand, invest, and increase Sri Lanka’s rubber products exports to the world, and will support the Government initiatives and partner the development agenda of Sri Lanka.

SLAMERP is also confident that the post COVID-19 economic recovery plan will be expedited to create a conducive environment in Sri Lanka to attract new investments to the rubber industry. SLAMERP congratulates all Parliamentarians who were elected to Parliament and extends its fullest support and cooperation to fulfil the national agenda, through the manifesto presented by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
