February.

The event serves as a good opportunity for the private sector to understand the new policy direction of the government and witness the new Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Deshamanya Professor W.D. Lakshman address the audience, where he will provide his perspective on the macroeconomic outlook for 2020.

The forum will see an interactive panel discussion bringing together experts from diverse fields. Asia Securities Chairman Dumith Fernando will delve into the financial and capital markets while providing perspective on the economy.

With the turbulence and uncertainty in global trade, it is apt that the panel discussion will focus on the global and local trade development. This perspective will be provided by Verite Research Research Director Subhashini Abeysinghe.

Fitch Ratings Lanka Chief Executive and Country Head Maninda Wickramasinghe will provide views on the macro and fiscal outlook with insights on growth and reform.

The launch of ‘Outlook 2020: Economic Growth Vs Stability,’ a publication by the Economic Intelligence Unit of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, will provide insights to the audience on the economic outlook and cover sectors such as construction, FMCG, consumer durables, agriculture, apparel and tourism.

This forum will be an ideal opportunity for C-suite officers and senior executives in strategy and new business development to gain insights for corporate planning and decision making. If you wish to take part in this event, please contact Satheesha on 115588882 or email [email protected].
