The Lanka Property Show 2018 featuring prominent apartment developers in the country was declared open yesterday, unveiling investment opportunities to potential buyers.

The event, which continues today, is Sri Lanka’s largest property show, taking place for the second consecutive year and will be held from 10am to 8pm at the Kingsbury, Colombo. A variety of the latest luxury villas, apartments and land deals will be showcased for all interested buyers.

Lanka Property Web Managing Director Dahan Gunaratne said: “We aim to take our vision further this year by introducing new products, services and technology. This will not only help people find property but will help them with the process of buying and selling their properties.”

The show will also create an opportunity for the public to discover what the Sri Lankan property market has to offer. While there were 11 exhibitors last year, this year’s show will be showcasing 24 exhibitors.

“Sri Lanka has seen an unprecedented boom in the real estate sector in recent years with around 300 more property projects getting approval from the CMA last year. This provides housing for the growing population in the country and shows the potential of local and foreign investors,” he added.

The Property Show thereby aims to bring various projects together under one roof that will benefit both buyers and sellers alike. The display of the multitude of property investment options currently available helps buyers to see and discover great investment opportunities.

Gunaratne also said: “We hope that in the next two days the buyers will be able to find their dream homes that they have being looking for and that the exhibitors find the right buyers for the properties that they have tirelessly planned and designed.”

Visitors will be able to look at properties valued at over Rs. 10 million as well as lands at Rs. 85,000 per perch. There are also a number of properties outside of Colombo featured. According to the organisers, apartments can be reserved on the spot by paying Rs. 100,000 upwards.

The Property Show is backed by Standard Chartered Bank as the official Banking Partner while other banks such as NTB and Seylan Bank are also event sponsors. Capitol Twin Peaks is the Principal Sponsor while Prime Grand and Blue Ocean are the event’s Platinum sponsors.
