Lanka IOC signs agreement with CEB for supply of Servo lubricants to Sapugaskanda Power Station

Lanka IOC, Sri Lanka’s number one listed energy company, secures the prestigious business of Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) for the supply of Servo – World Class Lubricants to the Sapugaskanda plant. This business was secured through competitive bidding by Lanka IOC (LIOC) for the first time. CEB has immensely benefited due to procurement through competitive bidding. 

Lanka IOC manufactures automotive, industrial and marine Servo lubricants at its state-of-the-art plant in Trincomalee. In a statement released, the company affirmed its commitment to the development and economy of Sri Lanka. 

The entire ranges of Servo Lubricants are locally manufactured, thus saving precious foreign exchange on imports. The company has been always at the forefront to offer best quality lubricants at competitive prices. 

As per directives of the newly elected Government, the company instantly passed on the tax benefits on account of VAT, NBT to its esteem customers. Besides this, Lanka IOC will be the only company to set up a grease manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka.

In terms of market share in lubricant segment, Servo is currently at the number two position in Sri Lanka, and this new business is a major step towards being a market leader. For decades Servo has been in the forefront of introducing technologically advanced products. Servo has also made inroads into the highly competitive global markets. Today, it has established its footprint in more than 30 global destinations.
