SLIIT opens intake for June 2017 Postgraduate Degree Programs

SLIIT has opened enrolment of June 2017 intake for MSc Degree Programs and the closing date for applications is Friday 2 June. Applications are accepted for MPhil and PhD programs as well. The Information Session on acquiring these highly sought-after qualifications accepted across the world will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 3 June at Level 15, BOC Merchant Tower, Colombo 3 and students who wish to reserve a seat can do so by calling the hotline 0777 605077.

MSc Degree in Information Technology is specially designed to provide advanced knowledge in Information Technology supplemented by a range of options within the areas of Software Engineering, Computer Networks, e-business Technologies, Database Management and Administration.  

MPhil in computing range from Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networks and Cyber Security while MPhil in Engineering include Civil Eng., Electrical Eng., Electronic Eng., Mechanical Eng. and Materials Engineering. PhD programs are available for both Computing and Engineering.

As a leading tertiary educational institute in Sri Lanka, SLIIT plays an integral part in research. The institute is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and International Association of Universities (IAU). SLIIT is also the first Sri Lankan institute to be accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, UK for Information Technology degrees. SLIIT offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees in Computing, Business, Engineering, Architecture and Quantity Surveying.
