Lakmini, Woman Entrepreneur 2015 to speak at ‘Members Meet’

TMC will have Lakmini Wijesundera, the ‘Woman Entrepreneur of 2015’ to speak at their monthly Members Meet event on 1 December at 6 p.m. at the VIP Room at Galadari Hotel. 

Lakmini has over 20 years of experience ranging from guiding the company’s strategic direction, global growth and its innovations. She has been instrumental and the driving force behind the success of IronOne Technologies Ltd. and the global success as its Chief Executive Officer. Lakmini thrives on creating ‘change for the better’ and has successfully launched and gained wide recognition for her innovative products and for having achieved Global Brand Awareness too.

Under her stewardship IronOne Technologies has emerged as a foremost IT establishment in the country with over 120 full time professionals, four global offices in Singapore, Malaysia, USA and Sri Lanka in addition to 15 partner offices and a global clientele that includes many of the Fortune 500 companies. 

Lakmini has been engaged in several progressive business initiations, prior to founding IronOne, to name a few – she managed IT programs funded by ADB in the field of poverty alleviation and the micro-finance sector and at Lanka Bell as its Manager International Technology and software development division. Lakmini has a Bsc in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from the University – College London and has a Msc from Imperial College, University of London.
