Design for businesshgygh

With design now being recognised as one of the most important value additions for business, it has become a fundamental to succeed. Especially in today’s context where Sri Lankan industries no longer compete only in the local market, but are reaching out for the market-share spread all over the world. Designers who can speak the visual language of consumers across cultures and backgrounds and are familiar with an international sense of aesthetic have a special ability to connect local brands to the rest of the world. However, finding this kind of design talent with the correct training, education and international standing has proved to be difficult for most businesses.

Answering this essential need, REVEAL graduate design showcase by AOD presents a fantastic opportunity for organisations to connect with young design talent with global standard education and exposure. Whether you’re looking for visual communication designers to rebrand your business with the correct corporate identity or to drive the next campaign to reach your consumer or an interior designer to transform your corporate space, or even a fashion and apparel designer for your business, AOD’s graduate design showcase REVEAL will help you find the right kind of professional.

REVEAL will host close to a hundred young professionals and their best works at SLDF this year, and aims to drive the close relationship between design and business through the exhibition’s careful curation.

Handpicking talent

REVEAL is an event that promises to be highly beneficial to the local business sector as it is a hotspot to locate talented designers who see the world through a lens of creativity and new possibilities. The graduate talent presented by AOD at REVEAL will encompass fashion and apparel, visual communication design, packaging design, logo/brand identity design, advertising and campaign direction, animation, interior and furniture design for hospitality/residential/retail and corporate spaces etc. These young designers have been trained at AOD in Sri Lanka, according to the internationally renowned design curricula of Northumbria University UK. Therefore, their education is in par with current global standard and has the potentialto add great value to the local industries as they gear up to enter the future.
