Bollywood blockbuster Ungli on Hiru TV this weekend

  The Bollywood blockbuster “Ungli” will be shown on Hiru TV on Saturday 14 March at 10.00 a.m. as part of the television station’s regular offering of top class entertainment. In the movie a gang of friends decide to take justice into their own hands. Ungli is a 2014 Indian Hindi comedy drama film directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam, Angad Bedi and Sanjay Dutt. Other offerings on Hiru TV this weekend includes on Friday 13 March at 1.30 p.m. Sinhala movie Baduth Ekka Horu (1969) will be televised. This black and white Sinhala movie is directed by Ranjith Senaweera and stars Gamini Fonseka, Jeewarani Kurukulasuriya and Joe Abeywaickrama. On Friday at 10.00 p.m. Sinhala movie “Chandani” directed by Sunil Soma Pieris will be shown. The film stars Jeevan Kumaratunga, Geetha Kumarasinghe, Priyankara Perera, Rex Kodippili, Dilani Abeywardena and Tenisson Cooray. On Sunday at noon, Sinhala movie Juliya directed by Sampath Sri Roshan will be televised. The film stars Charith Abeysinghe, Nadeesha Hemamali, Sasanthi Jayasekara, Raveendra Randeniya, Robbin Fernando, Veena Jayakodi and Sriyantha Mendis.
