All-time record price for Suduwelipothahena CTC tea

Galpaditenne Tea Factory situated in Lellopitiya, Ratnapura, established an ‘all-time record’ price at the weekly tea auction of 30 January by securing a price of Rs. 680 per kg for a BP1 grade in the Low Grown CTC category. The commitment to consistently produce a quality product has been the hallmark of Galpaditenne Tea Factory. This line was sold by tea broker John Keells PLC and the line was purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd.
