It was a happy day in the otherwise uneventful lives of the 110 inmates of the City Home for Elders and Children, Battaramulla – managed by the Colombo Municipal Council, when the Council and Staff of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects visited this home for the destitute on 27 August.
