Railways installs new equipment to prevent accidents
Sri Lankan Railway authorities in an attempt to prevent train accidents have decided to install new equipment to sense the presence of the trains on the tracks.
SLTB to import 25 Volvo buses
The Chairman of Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) said that 25 Volvo buses would be imported to the state owned passenger transport service.
SLTB Chairman M.D. Bandusena said that the buses would be imported in January and that each bus costs Rs. 22 million.
