Qatar Airways delays Azerbaijan, Georgia service
Qatar Airways has postponed the launch date of its new flights to Azerbaijan and Georgia to February, 2012 due to operational reasons.
Originally slated to start operations on November 30, the new daily services to the capital cities of Baku and Tbilisi respectively, will now begin on February 1.

Sustainable route to rural development

Agriculture Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena savours a drink made out of White Oats at the Diamond Best Foods stall after opening the three-day International Processed food, Beverage, Packaging and Agricultural exhibition at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre at the BMICH yesterday. The event is showcasing 300 companies from 15 countries, promoting over 10,000 new products and services, the organisers said. The exhibition will run until Sunday.
