Promoting economic development in emerging regions by cultivating a new generation of young technology entrepreneurs, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) launched the Accelerating Information Technology Innovation Initiative (AITI) in collaboration with the University of Moratuwa this year, also marking the entry of the start-up incubator into Asia.
